Milestone for Army’s $2.5b air & missile defence system
Minister Christopher Pyne announces the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) has been selected for the Australian government’s program, known as Land 19 Phase 7B.
A new $50 million Raytheon Australia Centre will be built in the defence industry precinct of Mawson that will feature an office block and specialised integration facility - the first production facility in country.
