State-of-the-art research funding secured

$600,000 of state-of-the-art research funding has been secured by South Australia researchers from the Defence Innovation Partnership that will support four projects covering a range of areas of interest to the Australian Department of Defence.

One of the four funded projects includes $149,450 for Next Generation Solutions for Passive Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) and Improved Situational Awareness. This project is led by the University of South Australia with partners, Silentium Defence (based in Parafield, South Australia), University of Adelaide, Villanova University (USA), and Defence Science and Technology.
